Casabon sets a Newschool Milestone at KOS

I just read over the KOS finals re-cap on the front page and couldn't help but notice something pretty remarkable in the comments. A few people were on there saying something to the effect of "thank God someone [Casabon] placed w/o using a double or a flip". That makes sense given all the talk on here about how dubs are the new sw10 and how 'over' dubs some kids are starting to be, but I thought it was pretty funny that a switch 10 is now a 'style' trick and relief from the typical 'spin to win' tricks.
I mean, did anyone see that coming in 05, 06, 07? lol

Just thought that merited noting. Mad props to Casabon for keeping it steezy in the '09.

they're so redundant now though.

but mad props to b dog, idc that he got second with a switch 10, (and by no means is that normally a stylie trick) but he's ooozing with style and made it look as if it was nothing for him.

casabon is pretty steezin in the air, the judges werent really looking for what trick they were more looking for good style

agreed. I think that style is unique to every different skier. Its just how we ski. So is there really an accurate way to judge that? Debatable. B-dog does freaking kill it though.
