it puts an extra, off, weird axis on your spin... it helps you get corked easier.... you cant do a good cork 3 without a carve... it brings a bigger tech aspect to jumps too...
you do it by starting to the left or right of the jump then making a turn up the jump so you are going straight or to the left or right or whatever angle you wish off the jump. make sure you still pop, but pop with your carve, which should be off axis and corked now, then just spin like normal...
