does anyone remember how every friday night cartoon network used to have cartoon cartoon fridays? where they showed sick shit like dexters lab and powerpuff girls and edd, ed and eddy all night and it rocked?

it used to be hosted by cartoon charachters for awhile, then it was hosted by these two people tommy and tara.

what the fuck ever happened to that? and what happened to tommy and tara?

i want some fucking answers.
 
Space Ghost was on the original line-up for Adult Swim not Cartoon Cartoon Fridays though.....

Old school Cartoon Network was awesome. Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Toonami, Dexter, Powerpuff Girls, and the Ed show (Ed, Edd n Eddy)... now all their new shows are fucking stupid and Adult Swim is the only thing worth watching and even then just reruns of King of the Hill and MAYBE Metalocalypse are worth watching.

Cartoon Network used to be the fucking shit as is Boomerang.

The only old cartoon still on CN from the original line-up is Tom and Jerry at like noon.
 
im sorry, but personally, i dont find robot chicken funny in the least bit. actually, most of the time, i fucking hate that show. i have a pretty immature sense of humor, but that show just takes it too far.
 
Aqua Teen Hungerforce, KOTH, Metalocalypse (sometimes) are the only shows on Adult Swim I can stand anymore. Robot Chicken, The Mighty Boosh, Superjail, are all fucking stupid.
 
I watched Carl's version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on the show... omfg, so twisted. There is a line in there about pissing his pants.

 
i feel you on everything except for superjail, i dunno why, but i fucking love superjail. its pretty well done, albiet extremely violent and generally tasteless/ridiculous.
 
It is SO fucking weird. And by the time it used to come on (is it still on?) I would be so tired it was almost like I was stoned it made NO sense and would scare me.
 
Did I say I didn't like it? I love ATHF, so awesome.

i remember sneaking into the movie in 8th grade and was amazed by the awesomeness, it was holy shit "i like your butt but im not gay"
 
I think I was in high school when it came out. My senior year in fact.

I loved the episode after the movie came out where it ends in the cave with Meatwad and Shake making out and Frylock is like:

"Didn't we already do this in the movie? Man, FUCK THIS"

or something of that nature.
 
remember when Adult swim played the WHOLE movie nonstop for like a week before it came out in the bottom right hand corner of the screen with no sound? that was so awesome
 
So distracting too.

I still kinda miss some of the Anime that was shown on Adult Swim like Cowboy Bebop. Anime's like that were the fucking bomb. This new stuff is fucking pathetic.
 
totally, I love Moral Oral its so awesome, and Home Movies is definitely my favorite Adult Swim show
 
Neither one of those shows are on Adult Swim anymore I think. Once in awhile Family Guy is ok but overall Adult Swim sucks now. No more Sealab 2021 either.

yeah Moral Oral is done and Home Movies is on at 1:30 weekdays, I hate family Guy so much, and Simpsons it starting to get bad, it makes me sad
 
cowboy bebop was fucking gangster haha, fey was the only animated girl i have ever thought was attractive (besides kairi from KH) i hated every other animer show that was on adult swim, i thought they all sucked.

i cant see how anyone could think family guy isnt good, every episode is so quality, the amount of time and effort that seth mcfarlane and the rest of the family guy staff puts into every episode is fucking astounding.

but whatever, you dont have to like the show. to each their own.

Peter: Conservative religious person that is a douchebag (MacFarlane is a lib, so he uses Peter as a means to say he thinks the other side is morons).

Lois: Somewhat feminist wife and tries to be a smart version of Peggy Hill, and it doesn't work.

Stewie: The normal world domination person that almost every cartoon has. Only real character that makes the show funny.

Brian: Doppleganger for MacFarlane to push his political viewpoint across.

I would keep going but I really can't stand the show sometimes.
 
Hahaha chyeaaaa Samurai Jack. Shit was ridiculous! I miss Toonami, that shit was my life, Dragon Ball Z... Zoids anyone? The show with the giant fucking robot animals controlled by dudes and they just fought the whole time? Hahaha I miss that shit!
 
Aahhhh, I miss those days.

it makes you think though, what are our kids gonna be watching when they're youngins?
