Mount Snow is pleased to announce that the superpipe will open up shop on Wednesday, January 30, 2009. The pipe will be 400'+ long and have walls between 15 & 16' high. The pipe will be open through the MLK holiday week before it undergoes a facelift for the Dew Tour Finals in February.
Carinthia also unveiled a new feature yesterday the Cliff Drop on in the Junkyard. The Cliff is on the final pitch adjacent to the superpipe location. With 6 parks and over 50 features and the pipe opening Mount Snow's Carinthia continues to be the leader in open freestyle terrain in the east.
