Car System Set-Up

Okay i am not sure what thread to post this in so i am sorry if this one is the wrong one. I am putting in a new head unit for my stereo in my car and subwoofers 2moro. i have never done this so i was wondering if anyone could help me out with something that could explain it to me and help me do it without messing my system up.

If you haven't done it before be prepared for some frustration and time spent on your back with your head up inside the footwells. Don't cut wires too short, check all the wires are routed properly before tidying them up, test the stereo and wiring before slotting it into place. thats about all I can think of right now.

If you don't have one you should look at a butane soldering iron, makes soldering in tight places so much easier.
 
Also, if you have to remove any trimmings or dash parts and they don't want to come off, dont force them! Something will be holding it down.
