Any help would b appreciated.

if your buddy could hook you up with the installation paperwork that would help you a lot. but the company that he bought the speakers from usually has a tech support number and you can call them. thats what my friend and i did when we put his in.

You need a 4 gauge run to run from the battery in your engine bay to the trunk of the car. Figure 17-20ft there

You need maybe 4-6ft of wire to ground your amp to the chassis of the vehicle.

You will need 17-20ft of remote turn on wire (hey i have a bunch if you wanna buy some for the cheapz, this will run from your deck to your amp. And will tell your amp when to turn on.

You will need a 17-20ft long RCA to run from the deck to the amp.

And then you buy some 12-18 gauge wire to run from your amp to your subs if you don't already have some.

Then you put it in the car....

If you don't have a deck, you need to see if your factory stereo has RCA outputs. Or you might need to buy a deck, or buy a converter.

yo man buy a regular about 4 gauge wiring kit should do and what it should be should be a large red wire, a large short brown wire, and the small ass blue wire and then to av cables

red wire goes on driver side of car (start running wire through the engine and though the fire wall) just find an existing whole with wires already goin through it and just string it through man run that to the amp

then run all of the other wires on the other side

this is so there is no buzz from the wires coagulating together

so then take the short brown wire and wire it to an existing screw or bold try and make it attached to the frame of the car scratch the paint away and then put it there

the other 2 ones go to the head unit and plug the small blue one into the blue and white wire coming out of the back

then the other 2 ones just plug right on in

i suggest getting this one

it might be allot more than you need but its always good to have headroom so that you are not over powering your amp

i would suggest this one for now

if thats too much then go for the lower model with just enough power and its cheaper

if you want you can go for a different amp model but what ever works for you i guess

way more then you need. go as short as possible on your ground wire, why create extra resistance for nothing? 4 gauge is also probably over kill, id say you would get away with 8. and if you do go with 4gauge, use welding wire, way cheaper per foot then actual power wire and way better.

I didn't say you had to have 4-6ft. You ought to consider buying 4-6ft though. Sure my ground was less than 3ft long, but thats not to say everyone will be that lucky and get away with a 3ft long ground.

plus this kid doesn't sound serious here. I don't think he cares about added resistance due to longer cable length or the thread count or flexibility of the wire haha
