If you don't mind sifting through piles of shit, there is actually a decent amount of good info, cool pictures, articles, etc on the Car Lounge forums. Just don't get sucked into the drama. Many of the posters in TCL make NS look like Mensa.

jalopnik is pretty good. I just use it for auto news, the daily top ten lists and the occasional video of some dude in hungary jumping a yugo over his friends in a kiddie pool or something
