there about as safe as a hat. we watched a guy at a helmet demo bend it in half then it cracked into like 3 peices. they look sick tho

i dunno about "no protection"? my bro has one and I've rocked it before, its definatly better than nothing. plus they are made for skating, so im pretty sure they were made to protect and not just look good.
