gonna get some hate for this one

i bought a new giacca and before even skiing with it the bottom synch broke, thinkings it’s a manufacturer defect.

well I messaged them on insta and sent them an email. It’s been a week since I’ve messaged them on insta and 5 days since I emailed them. They have not responded to either (I think one week is a pretty generous response time)

I spent $250 on this jacket so for the synch to be breaking before even wearing it along with no customer support is ridiculous.

anyone else experienced this with capeesh?
 
Thats pretty lame but aside from the customer service aspect u should buy some elastic string at a crafts store and make a new cinch yourself i’ve done it before its really easy

That’s probably what I may do but I feel as if they need to compensate me somehow. I didn’t even ski with the jacket on and it broke.

I totally agree with you, the only problem is that its a super small brand and a cinch is so cheap and easy to fix that if they send u anything via mail its gonna cost them way more money in shipping than any reasonable compensation you deserve for that so if I were u I would not waste any time, fix the jacket yourself, and hope they give u store credit or something.

Not tryna start shit because I cant read their minds but I’ll bet any money they read ur message and probs think u want an exchange or something which is illogical to do from a business standpoint of a company that small for a cinch that costs next to nothing to fix. (Unless they are complete, selfless beauties)

I mean if you’re sending out a defective product you’re 100% accountable for whatever fees it takes to fix the issue

Illogical from a business standpoint would be not replying timely to a customer message. Especially if you're a small business, word of mouth can end you quickly. I'm not saying they gotta bend over backwards for op but at least some sort of response and/or remedy would be warranted. All companies should have exchange policies and account for that in their budget.
 
Not good practice to not respond at all. Even just clarifying their return policy or giving advice on how to fix the cinch would be enough.

Based on my experience with this feature on clothes the part of the string that is outside is not supposed to go in that hole. The other end of that string, which is in the channel, needs to come out of that hole.

I’m not excusing a week response time but to be fair Ferdi and a lot of other people have been traveling / competing this past week. Send a follow up

Overall it’s actually a really nice jacket other than the cinch but yeah it’s a little bit insulated hard to explain but it’s pretty warm, I’d say more jacket than windbreaker

I think there are some left, but not sure.i met some of the capeesh people this fall in Copenhagen, and they are really nice. I would definetly recommend their products

pretty sure the capeesh hq still is quite small and not that developed yet. last time i heard they had just gotten new people in the office. might take some time before they get everything running smoothly
