Canyons - Mini-park accident

Hey

so supposedly today there was a girl who was in real bad shape in the jib park at canyons. I dont know what happened didnt see anything but was told she was against the tree and receiving CPR on the way down and a heli came in.

Wanted to know if anyone knows who it was / what happened / if they came out of it.

Terrible thing for last day there, hope everything turned out for the better.
 
according to varied sources, it wasn't a girl, but a mother of a snowboarder who was watching her kid ride the park. somewhere she messed up and hit a tree, broke her neck. Received CPR but died in the Helicopter.

PARK CITY, Utah - A woman skiing at The Canyons Ski Resort collided

with a tree and was later pronounced dead Sunday afternoon. Edda

Dunning, 46, was skiing with her children, watching them just outside

the Painted Horse Terrain Park, when she struck a tree and was rendered

unconcious around noon Sunday. Ski Patrol arrived and administered

first aid. Dunning was then airlifted to the University of Utah

Hospital where she later died from her injuries.

Dunning and her family were on vacation from Cincinnati, Ohio according to Summit County deputies.
 
God I hate hearing this stuff. I couldn't imagine that happening to my mom. especially on a family trip...on Easter. Wow, RIP to her, positive vibes all around.
