Can't wait for winter!

Literally, I don't think I can, I may die before the snow falls.

I live on the east coast so there won't be skiing for at LEAST 100 days.

I think about skiing until I can't stand it, and then I watch ski edits until I can't stand those.

What do you guys do?
 
Go to summer camp, then for the rest of the summer go on NS, play Jibbin, watch skiing edits, shop for skiing stuff, and aggressive skating.

almost everyday i find my self either watching the forecast in the hope of cold weather and or upcoming winter predictions. and watch the trailers at least twice a day
and yet i still have til late November.....
 
i watch my 2012 suspect since the end of the winter , ive been to skiing camp , been to another skiing camp then went to the bahamas 3 weeks then came back played some jibbin watched some edits and now , school is one week away so ive been pretty busy and school is going to make the last few weeks easier to go through , then there is going to be the 4 or 5 preseason jams and in late november : opening dayyy yehhhh
 
it sucks, cuz the "winter fever" usually hits me hard around late August, due to all the Trailers dropping and whatnot. And i've still got 3 more months to go. It seems like the stoke almost wears off by the time late November rolls around

i cannot waaaait for winter. but being on the east coast i still got awhile. ijust want it to be cold and snow
 
just latley my mind has gone from summer mode into thinking winter is a month away.... this thread reminded me its like 4 months away and now im depressed.
 
I masturbate. it takes my mind off skiing. then i trampoline, but then i get tired. so then i try to build a summer jib but i fail cuz i never took shop. then i go inside and watch some ski edit. then im back to the begiing again

But yeah I hate September, such a teasing month with cooler temps, sniagrab, movie premieres, etc.
 
Dude you need to find a summer hobby to fill that empty space in your life when it's not skiing season! For me and a lot of other NSers it's mountain biking.. Super fun!
 
just bought whole new everything this summer and i just stare at it about to flip! when i watch edits i just want to die because im so jealous

I may go insane before ski season starts. I've even started doing my is it snowing peak through the blinds a few times and it's still 90 degrees out.
 
Get a job, makes the summers just fly by. I wish I had another month of summer so that I can make more money before school starts tho lol.
 
Upon a recent visit to the local lumberyard to build a pvc double barrel for the winter, I found out they sell AstroTurf for 80 cents a square foot!! Just bought a 12x8 foot sheet of it.

With enough lubrication and elbow grease my problems may be solved!!... sort of.
