I was just there too. Definitely bummed me out. Only option I can think of is to park at Scott’s bowl and hitch hike. Or go somewhere completely different.

The entire road and pass area has been so busy the last few years. I’m glad they did something, but it’s a pain in the ass now and sucks for trying to hike your dog up there or go out to the lakes.
