Went to take some pictures yesterday and the camera was completely dead, Used both camera batteries and double a's with my grip, then just in case tried a single battery without my grip. Nothing is shaking around inside so I dont really think anything is broken. Last time I used it it came on fine, now it sat for a week and is dead. Any help?
 
try replacing all the batteries, most things lose life if you let them sit with batteries in them. other than that i can't really help because i don't have a t1i, but i hope it works out for you man
 
even if its not, still try canon. i got a point and shoot replaced by them after warranty for pretty cheap even though it was clearly 10000% my fault.
 
Something like this happed to my friends xt or some rebel. But he let it sit for two weeks and when he went to use it again it didn't work, and the cable attached to the piece that gets the power from the battery was broken so he can't use it. That may be your problem. Take it to your local camera store and ask them, don't fuck with this stuff yourself!
 
a screw fell out of my t2i like 2 months ago and it also kinda acted wierd.

they said to send it in but i have yet to do so cu im scared about shipping haha
