Canon 60D weatherproofing

I've been looking around all over the web at a ton of different reviews and haven't been able to find any real definitive answer about the weatherproofing on this body.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience or a link to a good review with some info on this.

its the plastic body, so in general its not as effective against the elements (water included) as the alloy body in the pro level bodies. the plastic body does aight though.
as long as you dont use it as a go pro for gettin faceshots youll be fine

also remember that even if your body is completely weather sealed like the 7D, it's only going to be as useful as the lens you put on it. If you put the plastic kit lens on it, it's useless, but if you use sealed glass (L series for example) then you can take advantage of weather sealing, but still be careful though.

I took mine out in very foggy, humid weather yesterday, and although it seemed fine, I was still cautious and packed it up once it started to rain and took it inside to dry it off.

if you want to be ghetto you could use a plastic bag....although i don't think it would be a huge deal not to have one unless you got sprayed or dropped it into some pow....

Yea it wasn't my camera and it was dropped into nice deep powder on a really sunny day so the pow instantly melted all over it. = not stoked.
