I know this isnt thread worthy but i never see enough skiers at Cannonsberg anymore...its just a group of little kids that frontside 2 off everything and think they are hot shit cuz they can backflip. /rant

So some real skiers should go tomorrow and roll with me and my crew, im rockin a orange and white oakley jacket with Afterbangs.
 
lol Cannonsberg is definetly not dead at all. they are doing better business than any year before even with the worst winter ive ever seen in my life. Also best park in Michigan open to the public *Otsego*, something Cab definetly cant say lol.

Also they always have dope contests going on, and cheap tickets.
 
have never been to either, but from what it looks like, otsego has nothing on cannonsburg. cburg said something about 50+ jibs? sick
 
Nothing in michigan can touch otsegos jump line, at least last season didn't go this year but they were the nicest jumps i have ever hit. Cburg probably has a better jib park.
 
False....They changed them all the time for competitions wtf are u talking about? lol. The begining to mid season you couldnt go 2 times in one week without seeing a whole different setup.

But i will give it to you, a lot didnt get set up this season. They only had like 35 - mabye 40 jibs set up.
 
meh. From the edits and pictures i see, they dont look that nice. I may be wrong though. I was blown away by cannonsburg slopestyle course. The jumps looked like something out of park city and breck.
 
And also from what it looks like, otsego lacks creativity. Every edit i see if just everything set up flat. Plus having to be a member to go is super gay.
 
Id think the fact Im out there nearly everyday I can attest to the setup seldom being changed. If you're saying they redid setups you must notice they took out one or two features for a comp instead of a complete rebuild. This year was sick but it lacked variety. There was 1 flat bar the entire season. Everything else was urban which I don't mind at all Id just like more variety in a run. Hitting urban down to urban donkey to urban flat tube gets a little boring.
 
i dont think ive saw you there unless you were kinda drunkish i asked you about blind 2's out...that might have been you idk? But i usually see the same exact kids there, not too many college kids that often.

Well, its sad the season is now over :/ but had a good day getting some of the season footy.

Oh and i saw you Switch Up Production queers there today doing Spead Eagles all fucking day lol
 
i agree matt. they would very seldom change the set up. i was out their probaley 60 times this year and the setup never really changed besides taking a rail out for a comp. but this is the first year with new owners. hopefully next year they can change it up once in a while. don't get me wrong i love skiing the CBurg.
 
Well look whose sponsored and whose not fuck head, quite being an asshole on ns, sack up find friends and enjoy skiing, not rip people apart for having fun
 
On second thought, I see you go to East Grand Rapids High School, which means you're probably 17 at the most. I'm guessing you're either a freshman or a sophomore though. Either way, you're a little young for me. Maybe in a few years.
 
dont hate on kids wanting to have fun. your not a real skier if your too focused on competing and being better than other kids and not focused on just enjoying being on the mountain. btw cannonsburg is fun but its really geared toward snowboarding. which can be ok cause it makes it easy to get creative but you will be snaked by a snowboarder which blows
