Candle Wax on skis

no wayyyyy..i love the smell of hot ski wax (although the parrafin fumes arent cool for your body)

i actually used it today, and didnt see it slowing me down. It was my first day on my new skis, but they seemed to slide really well on rails and snow. if you dont have any other wax, this might help your skis more than it would not

dide i use yankee candle jelly candles with the starfish and ocean creatures on it..

makes my skis smell like ocean breeze :)

i use parafin waw, its used in cooking, candles anything really and it works, also i don't scrape the extra wax off my skis i just let the snow do that.

my friend uses candle wax if ur gona use it it wares off like every day and wont fill in scratches so i dont suggest it

the only thing you should be using candle wax for is concrete ledges or really sketchy rails that you wanna smooth out

that bein said, candle wax on skis is just about the worst idea regarding skiing that i can think of...

really are you goingt to put your skis thgrough that?

what if you ruin the bases?

oh and i like that pam on the topsheet idea

people that are saying it's terrible have no proof to back it up. i used candle wax from march to august last year and it worked fine for me.

word. i've used it before to. it doesn't work as well as other waxes but gets the job done if the snow isnt to warm
