Probably, nobody can do it like Candide

on a side note, would he be allowed to enter a mogul comp? Like he could just straight line them and win. I know before starting freestyle he was a mogul skier, but in those comps are you allowed to straight line?

Kinda, you wouldn't score high because moguls are time + tricks for your score each run. So it would pretty much be a wasted run for an athlete.

Like there's an old story at Spirit Mountain Duluth about one of the Flannagan kids holding the mogul course time record because they just straight-lined the entire course and didn't do a single trick off any of the jumps. They didn't WIN the comp that day but they do still hold the time record to this day. Allegedly they would hit each jump, land like 3 moguls in and just keep straight lining until they crossed the finish line.
 
I'm sure he would still crush in the FWT, but why would he bother? He can do whatever he wants and competing would be so lame compared to making these videos. Plus he's leaving room for an up and comer who needs the opportunity of the FWT.
 
props to candide for releasing content this year I was hating on him a couple months ago for not dropping any clips lol these new edits are dope

not sure what you mean by this but there is footage of candide getting injured, broke his back on a mega table top and also runs into a tree at the end of his strike three seg

Maybe he will come in as a wildcard for one of the events, but I don't think that really interests him now. He really has nothing left to prove
 
A few people asked if Candide could win FWT. I think he definitely could. I’m not saying he would win every stop or whatever, but he definitely still has the talent to take down any stop on any given day imo.

He still releases the most mind blowing and charging and fucking BEAUTIFUL looking lines to this day.
