Yeah, b/c it's finally not on the same weekend as the JOI like it has been the past few years, which allows a lot of the bigger names to all come together and session the hell out of the Candide Invite..
 
So does anyone know if Candide is 100% yet. i somehow doubt he will be throwing down as hard as he has in the past but even if hes at like 75% we will still see some amazing stuff out of him.
 
candide has been injured a lot and still thrown down every year. this was definitely one of if not the biggest injury hes had but it was at the end of last season and it was looking good early on so i assume he will be throwing down.
 
heading to la clusaz tomorrow. the thing gets more insane every year. they've bumped the length from 2 days up to 4 this year.

problem is, the forecast is calling for snow on every one of the 4 days. 70cm up to Monday, which for the alps is a pretty big dump.

we'll see what happens, but hopefully it won't be completely screwed.
 
I was supposed to go I reserved my airline tickets but this contest is only for rich folks. The flight there was 200 dollars (american) there and back, but 1 night at the hotel is 400 Euros. (ALOT OF F"n MOney) The problem is with this contest is that any hardcore skier can't go because they can't afford it. There are only about 10 Hotels in La Clusaz as well.

Sorry for the rant.

But it's bullshit.
 
the way tanner has been doing stuff this year i was kinda suprised to not see him on the list..

but none the less this will be sick..
 
hah especially with the dollar trading at 1.60 w the euro haha. but seriously last year we found a hotel outside of la clusaz for like 30E a night. its not too find a hostel around there.

Those are 18 hours straight sessions

Those europeans are really crazy !!!

(I know it's only a mistake, but still fun tho)

Will be such a sick event. Can't wait to see the footage with all the big names this year !!!
