what are you thoughts on Harper, prorogation, and the recent protests?
do you think these protests really accomplished anything?
 
im american but i had no idea there were protests goin on. I like harper, not that it affects me at all. but what are people pissed aboot?
 
I think harper is just stalling and personally i think hes a douchebag but i vote liberal/ndp. We need another coalition to kick him out.
 
well around laast summerish ago harper put parliment on break for a month or 2. (I can't remember how long, but i think it had something to do with the other partys trying to get conservitive out of power.) Anyways Harper proposed to put parliment on break for a few months again. So canadians are getting pissed because what good is he doing not working in parliment debating laws, and other politic junk they debate there? None.
 
Lots of Canadian politicians are whiny little girls, ie. Jack Layton, who also has terrible ideas. Stephen Harper I think is a good politician and a pretty good leader, this proroguing of Parliament will have little effect on anything however has provided the NDP and Liberals with some decent whistleblowing material which of course they have jumped all over.
 
Canadians are overrunning NH on big shopping weekends. GTFO. I don't mind English canadians, but you french canadians are insufferable.
 
agreed^ The whole afghistan torture argument is stupid. I think If the afghans want to execute them, let em' it's there country, I don't think that's are buisness.
