what canadian universitys are good for skiing? like have a decent hill within a reasonable distance and a good community of skiiers? i was looking at maybe University of north BC, another one in BC, i heard theres a good one in alberta... what else is there?

Go to Montreal to either mcgill or concordia. You got some awesome skiing close by, but not if your looking for serious powder. More for park, Tremblant is pretty good on a pow day to. Other then that universities out west are your best bet.

UBC is really close to a bunch of mountains and has a shit ton of NSers there. SFU is close too, but I think I'm the only NSer there.

I am at TRU (kamloops), its 40 mins from Sun peaks (first year at sun peaks so i don't really know how it is) but I know a lot of skiers at UBC Oakanogan (sp?)(Kelowna) who ski silver star and big white (apparently you can buy a pass for both mountains for a pretty good deal)I also know a lot of UBC Vancouver/Cap U/Quest Students ski Whistler (500$ pass i think?) hope this helps a little bit.
