Canadian Slopestyle Competitions

I'm 15 and looking into getting sponsored for skiing but first entering slopestyle competitions and improving. I am a decent skier but not looking for a very competitive competition. Closer to Saskatchew would be better as I live there. Help would be much appreciated.

Hey man! All i can say is just have fun every day you are on the mountain! Get creative and do skiing your own way and not be a follower! Create new things and as long as you are having fun, sponsors will eventually come. Just work hard and try to get up to the mountain as much as possible!

Thx for the advice! But man in Saskathewan we have hills not mountains... Crappy but it works.

Just have fun with skiing, there is not really any "better" way of more or less edits, but showcasing your skiing will always bring attention

Head west to Alberta and even into BC, they always have a tone of contests. You're close enough to make the trek. Look south too. Mid west.

Are these slopestyle? If so are they very competative? I have heard Fernie only has a rail park too

A bunch along the way and then a best of at the end. If you put out good edits all season long people will slowly start to recognize you and if your edits are good you will start to build a name and a following. If you just hang on to all the footage and then drop one good edit people will be stoked but probably forget about it after a week. Keep quality content flowing all season.

No. We've pretty much always had a shit park. This year it was a bit better because we actually had a half decent park crew.
