so on the site it says there opening on November 8th, if theres anyone that rides there,..how was it last year at opening? and hows sunshine at opening?....im moving to calgary for the winter but im planning on leaving late november to build up some more money, but should i leave early november to ride COP that early, is it worth it? and is there ever any features set up?

if thats confusing just ask and i clarify what im trying to say..

 
they usually have a few rails set up for opening day, last year wasnt anything specail but it was god to get out, as for shine i dunno when they get park stuff up, im thinking it would be a month or so for stuff to start being built but im not sure. also cops park usually opens about a month after the hill itself opens
 
wait... just make sure you are here until the end of ski season, May Long weekend...

I mean you could move here early to hit a 10 foot long flat down
 
cop is fun enough opening day I guess, there is generally a few boxes, maybe a rail or 2 and a wall ride with some humps to hump on. park doesn't open till December generally. The Burton Open is DEC 9thI (I think) , but was canceled due to lack of features last season. The weather here is mild, so depending on night temps, the park could be open sooner or later.

sunshine usually opens with a few chairs, and lots of snow. Some years everything uphill from goatseye is open and ready to roll from the start, some years its just wawa, brokeback and strawberry for a week or 2. The park doesnt open untill ... umm well whenever they say they want to open it, but its going to be super sick. I would say by the second week of january you will have a 22ft superpipe to ride all week, and super yummy snow to shred all weekend.

sounds dope huh?
