Canadian Contests

How come all of the big contests take place in the states?? Its super gay for Canadians who get raped by taxes on their prize money, and wouldn't it be cheaper for everyone in the states to come to a Canadian contest with the exchange rate and all?? I think someone should start up a Canadian Freeskiing open, that would be dope.

^ Yeah but its a video contest...not a traditional slopestyle or big air which Canada has none to speak of on a major level apart from WSI. A Canadian Open would be soooo dope all that's needed is some major sponsors. We have the facilities and talent.

but it makes sense. that would be cool if the dew tour had a stop there or the equivalent of the US open
