Because for the last 50 years besides the last olympics you couldn't send professionals to the olympics all canadian players that are good go to the NHL to make the mad cash. 60% of the NHL the best hockey league in the world consists of canadian players I think that should be evidence enough. Last olympics we didn't win because of a shoot out shoot outs aren't hockey they are a one chance deal that don't take into consideration all aspects of the sport. Canadians are the best hockey players in the world and I think it is pretty hard to dispute that fact.
