I think he had a good point, everyone was an ass to him , but really it would be a nice feature if we could vote someone out. Make sure no one can vote twice and they need a certain amoount of votes to go. Think about like ageo or Irvin, or all these people that are just trashing our forums. I know it bugs people becasue it causes alot of people to complain too. If you make it a large amount of votes then it would be hard to vote someone out for sure.

What do you think?
 
I think that would turn ns into some elite website which it isn't. In conclusion, that idea would ruin this site and take away what makes it great.

The removal of a few annoying people would be outshadowed by how many people unfairly get kicked out that don't deserve it.
 
fuck, I'm not going to spend my own free time deciding who's good enough to stay here, and I pity you if you consider this a good expenditure of your time. There's more important things worth doing that making some kid who posts random insults be banned from a skiing site. Quite frankly, I don't want to spend anymore time drawing attention to the idiots who infest ns than necessary.
 
yeah I know that makes sense, I'm just thinking like I think it was last night, or the night before,the NSG forum was completely fucked for the whole evening and it was really annoying. If they had like a little thing by their name that we could click that would give them a god or bad rating, wouldn't take time and we could feel like we aren't just powerless to get spammed.
 
i think you are th noobs, he has been here forever, his 1 post is justa penalty of somesort, when in reality he has more than me and both of you combined
 
come on. what would newschoolers be if there was nobody to complain about? nobody would ever post, all the stuff on here is garbage.
 
your the one that doesn't see the sarcasm in anything yeah I've never seen ice is scary before haha ha. I know where he is from, what he rides, his favorite terrain shut up already, he doesn't need to be defended
 
ya but theres lots of people on here that just have a grudge against other people and would vote them out for their own personal reasons which would not be fair, plus we want lots of people here its good for the skiing world but thats not to say there arent some people out there that need to be deleted every now and then its just like the way it has to be for a site to be good and functional.
 
the vote-out system probably wouldnt work. And even if it did it would be a huge pain in the ass, and would I think take away from the site. Why not just ignore the losers? And I mean totally ignore....think about who pisses everyone off, and why. Usually its because they make stupid threads, about dumb shit, or they make stupid comments in other threads. If no-one replied to their dumb threads, or got into e-fights with them because of their posts, theyd go away. Especially aliases like lil_gordon or stupid shit like that. If we got everyone to ignore them, hey presto, probelm solved.

Its funny because i think this is a great idea tha I just came up with yet it is so early in the morning i stilll cant walk to the kitchen without waslking into at least 2 walls.
