Canada cracking down on torrenting in 2015

I'm not actually sure if this is really "cracking down". Seems more like a scare tactic. I couldn't imagine huge corporations sueing a person for 5k, but maybe they'll sue a bunch of people at the same time.

Just thought I'd leave it here so people are informed and aware, in case this is sufficient reasoning to get Netflix or a VPN.

They frequently don't...Netflix basically tells you what you're going to watch and you need to settle with it. Every 6 months or so they come out with a sick movie thats actually good, but those are usually gone after about a week and you need to order the disc which is fucking annoying.

Most encrypt your network traffic. They also mask your location and make it appear the traffic isn't coming from your house. Seedboxs can also be used as another viable option, however they also add an extra step in getting the files onto your computer.

Make sure your vpn doesn't keep in depth logs either because you can get tagged if they go after your vpn service.

Forgot to add, your only going to get looked at if you use popular public trackers. If your on a private tracker or use some obscure public tracker you should be fine.

So TPB, kickass, torrentz, etc. Fuck I really need to get on a private tracker haha. Anybody have any invites on here that they wouldn't mind giving me? I have a VPN and a reasonably sufficient amount of knowledge to keep under the radar.
