I went outside this morning for class and took that deep breath in, and gawt dammit it smelled like winter's coming!!! I can't wait for the upcoming ski season on the EC... Come to think, the first snowflakes could be only a couple weeks away...

It snowed a ton on the west coast this week.

Places in oregon got like 5+inches and idaho got almost a foot up in the mountains. Went up there and fooled around in the snow.

i tell you what for all your east coasters, when i used to live in mass, there was something about the pre skiing atmosphere i cannot explain. Sure Colorado is fucking awesome, but the anticipation of winter is different. I mean there really is none. Ive skied every month....sure its AWESOME, but there is something special about the electricity in the air in the east that doesnt compare to anywhere else. I ALMOST kind of miss it.

and yeah next week is looking promising for the first snowflakes of the season in central NY (Syracuse area).... SOOOOO PUMPED!!! highs are gonna be in the 20s and 30s next week too with lake effect snow all week. CHEA!!

I love it when i walk into class in fall and everyone is all pissy about it being cold and i have the biggest smile for the same reason. and to whoever was talking about the feel of the upcoming season, i def. know what you mean. i always like the way things kind of slow down a little in the fall.
