Can you remount bindings 3 times on a Ski?

Hey I have a pair of Dynastar 6th Sense Serial. They were first mounted at the "standart" line last year but I thought it was way too back on the ski so I told my local ski shop to mount them center. They mounted them on the "center" line but I noticed the "center" line is actually not in the middle of the ski but about 2cm back. I wanted to know if I should reremount them a third time asking for true center, even though there is no line ln the ski that shows the true center, or if I should leave them like this. (I really want to ski a lot in the park this year so I want to have center mounted ski). What do you guys think is the best? Leave them like this or reremount them? Thanks!

I wouldn't mount them again. After 2 mounts, drilling more holes really starts to compromise the flex of the ski. 2 cm isn't that much and your skis aren't fully symmetrical, so mounting them true center might feel a little weird.

I'd ski it for a few days and if you absolutely can't stand having it that far from center, see what the shop thinks about another remount.

3 mounts is the max I would drill to a ski. Make sure the holes are far enough apart from the previous mounts. After your third mount the skis are done so make sure its an adjustment you want because theres not much turning back after. Make sure the other sets of house are plugged properly so you do not risk water damage/wood integrity.

Every set of holes you drill leaves the core a little weaker than it was originally but 3 mounts SHOULD be ok. Whoever does the mount will tell you their opinion, go to a shop that is credible.

cheers.

I've done it and my skis are still top shape, they're just softer. It's risky if it's your only pair but i've ridden around 30 days on my old masterminds and I haven't had a problem yet.
