Can we please get a new search bar?

This new search bar is pretty horrible. It returns irrelevant results quite frequently and will often not find a thread I am looking for, even if I search for its exact name. Also, when searching literally (with quotations) it still returns irrelevant results, even if all the words, as typed in, are not in the title. I don't think I am the only one frustrated by this, and I think it is something that should be addressed.
 
ive had a lot of luck with going to google, putting in site:newschoolers.com + "whatever youre looking for" (as long as you know the exact string, if not dont use parentheses)
 
the search bars when changed so many times that i doubt its very high on their list of things to do. but yes you are correct it does suck.
 
there is 1 good thing about the searchbar: i just type in WTS, FS, SELL, and SALE all into the searchbar and it gives me all of the threads with ANY of those words in the title, most recent first. That way I don't have to sift through "want a park ski" every other post in b/s/t. Other than that it blows
 
I just hate how it doesnt adhere to general searchbar norms. The inability to quote text is super annoying. I search "watch life" and get threads about firefighters watching houses burn to the ground, threads asking how much of t3h pronz people watch, etc. I just want to read the threads with "watch life" in the title, as written.
 
it's a inclusive vs. exclusive system. There's a place and time for both, but this should be exclusive
