Can we have 1 day where the NS community decides on the background

could we do a community contest where we all design some hilarious background (while being appropriate for MOST ages) and vote on it. No money or any sort of winnings, but just to have a fan favorite background for a day. like once a month or something?

i think that would be pretty fun.

Mr. Bishop we would obviously have to incorporate a screen grab of you shirtless in a apron and a 6 pack beer holster barbecuing chicken wings from On the Road!!

to me, it would add a little diversity. a little change up from the kids who kill it, to 1 day a month where its just hilarious. who wouldnt want to see Mr. Bishop in his apron and a 6 pack of beer strapped to his chest with god knows what photoshopped all around him.

That's how POTD works, the NS community votes on the background by upvoting content they like. You could alway try your luck and upload that and if thte community wants it then it'll be the background.

I've been on NS for a year and a half and never put this together. I totally thought an admin chose it everyday. ya learn something new everyday haha.

In case you were wondering, VOTD works the same way, as does most the rest of the content on the homepage/slider (although the calculations are a secret).
