Can someone walk me through a cork 7?

I can do 3's, switch 1's, some rails, 2 off (sometimes) and a backie. I tried a misty 5 but can't throw forward very well so I thought maybe I would learn a cork 7 since there is little danger of landing on your head and I'm pretty much willing to wreck every other part of my body to add such a cool looking trick. I'm not very good on the trampoline so not sure I will ever really get it down on the tramp but thought if someone could walk me through the trick so I better understood the mechanics I might be willing to huck it on a pow day. Balls I have, skills I don't :/

id try to spin one on a trampoline first just to get the rotation down or to at least know what to expect. but if you dont want to do that just spin and lean in the direction of the spin sort of backwards, its exactly as it looks in edits.

definitely get it on the tramp first so you are familiar with the rotation before you take it to snow

I'm working on it but I've never been very good on tramp. I could barely backflip on the tramp but found it was easier on snow.

The videos mostly show going straight at the jump but it was way easier for me to carve when I learned 3's, is carving into a cork 7 going to work the same?

Just look back at the transition like if you would do a 180 and land on your belly. Then it's just reaching a grab, follow on the momentum you had when you threw the rotation and spot the landing. That first 180 might feel too slow, but it's right after, when you're grabbing, that it actually spins.

Think of it like a standing backflip: it doesn't spin until you grab your legs (if you huck it. Of course it will spin without grabbing on a 100 footer).

Try to get a big jump, but most importantly a jump you're comfident on.

Thank you. This is what I was looking for, something that would help me visualize what was happening in the air.

I can't do it on snow but I've been working on it on the tramp. I started out doing 7's on the tramp and then progressed to going off axis bit by bit. When I first tried going off axis I just did a 5 and landed on my back, then just kept hucking it more and tilting back farther.
