Can someone help me find a movie online?

i have to watch taxi driver for one of my classes and i've been trying to download it for like an hour, but as it turns out, i have no computer skills. can someone please help me do it, because i know you guys are capable. ++++k and i'm on a mac btw
 
^ok i'll try that. i've already tried a few torrents, vuze, crackle, and some other shit. i have no idea what works
 
can someone just post a link to the site i should be using? i've been searching for over an hour now and i feel like it shouldn't be this hard to watch a movie. ^i'll try those, and great sig btw. and +k to both
 
just started downloading on transmission now, got like 2 hours to wait, thanks for the help! hope it works, i'll bump this if it doesn't
 
i've tried everything on this page and +k to all for the help. so far the only thing that has worked is letmewatchthis and stewie's link (which was similar, just a different website) but they stream super slow and it has to pause like every 5 seconds.. on a 2 and half hour movie. i've been tryin for like 2 hours now so if i can't get it to work i'm just gonna rent it.

hey dude i'm tryin to download a movie on transmission and it says its downloaded (ratio 1.01) n shit. how do i watch the movie? i'm on a mac and i haven't had it for very long so i don't really know what to do.. thanks if ou can help
 
Once it finishes, there will be a video file in your Downloads folder (~/user/Library/Downloads), named whatever the torrenter named it. It will most likely have a .mov or .wmv ending, as that is the file type. Double click on it, and it will open an application called Quicktime, which it will play in. QUality might not be the best, but it will work.
While the torrent is going, see if Hulu (www.hulu.com) or Netflix has it.
 
He has a mac so hopefully it's not .wmv. Almost every movie I have downloaded is avi, but yeah they are tricky to find. "Show In Finder" will be your best friend when it comes to macs.
 
He should double click it. If it says "this filetype is not supported" he needs to go and download VLC. Brilliant piece of software
 
most definitely! I think I found a codec package for quicktime so wmv works for me now. New macs might already have it, mine is a couple years old.

VLC is def the shit though.
