Maybe? ive never done that, getting it base welded would be ideal but understand thats not always an option.

If you really wanted to ski tomorrow, you could ptex it and it will probably survive the day. It'll crack and fall out. So you'll really want to get them base welded before they start letting water back into the base.

a lil soldering iron/base welding kit thing would probably cost as much as a shop would charge ??‍ ,, imo depends on whether you wanna take the time to do it yourself or not

Is that something I could do on my own or is it better to bring it to a ski shop
