The binding ripped out slightly with the screws from the core. I took them off. I was wondering if these skis are screwed or if I could redrill them so that they are okay again. Other then that they are in good shape.
And if they don't do anything, put marine grade epoxy in there and clamp the SHIT out of it to try to close it back up.... not even sure if that would work/be safe, but if they are fucked, might as well try!
That happened to my Volkl Walls so I had them anchored but they came out too. I sent them back but they wouldnt touch em, supposedly because they treat park ski warranty differently since they take so much abuse. I would def call they tho because it is a bullshit thing to happen and its likely that armada would be different.
Your ski isn't capped and is 100% wood core. A good shop tech can fix almost anything on skis built like that. My friend in Crested Butte fixed the same problem. Tear out a few key spots in your base, rivet the top sheet through the core to the base, and base weld or urethane the spots you cut out of the base. Good to go.
