can anybody give me a few pointers on how to get sponsored?

im 14 yrs.old ive been freestyle skiing for 2 years and for those years i skiied almost every single day and i still do till right now i quit hockey,football,etc...for skiing i love it im so dedicated i learned all those tricks in my pro in 2 years im willing to work hard! anybody have any suggestions on how i can practice harder and get better?

u should hav someone make a vid of u and send it to who u wanna get sponsered by. for gettin better, just keep pushin ur limits and tryin new things

look at my pro im getting a tramp this summer and ill be on diving boards hopefully ill be doing corks with higher spins and inverts next year like rodeos and mistys

Whoa kid chill out. We're all pretty dedicated to this sport don't hate on someone you don't know. You've learned a lot in two years but theres so many people better then you. Go big make a good video of yourself and send it to some companies. I would start with some clothing companies first, they're more likely to sponser you. Maybe your local mountain or some local ski shops.

you shouldn't just be motivated to learn new tricks so you can get sponsored, have some determination on improving for yourself and don't forget about the true meaning of the sport

ya i know i just wanted some advice on how i could get better and shit like that and out of the start i get ripped on people could be more nicer about it but IT'S LIFE!

This year just do a some comps and keep pushing your limits and try to get sponsored by the littler companys like your local ski shop. Then next year try to get sponsored by the big ski companys. When sending in a sponsor video, maybe you should send in an essay or something explaining what you can do for the company and how determined you are, that might catch they're attention. Also, go to some camps like High North, or something. If you want to try new inverts and stuff you can go to 'Ramp Camp' where you go off of big jumps into pools. Ive never been sponsored and im not the greatest skier, so Im just guessing on what you should do... Sorry if it doesn't help, im just trying to use my common sense... Good Luck!

just do comps and if you win a lot of them you'll get recognized, if your'e good enough you'll make it. but i thought that i was the most obsessed person with skiing in the world until i came onto this site, but then i realized there are tons of people like me, so dont say that you are more obsessed with skiing then anybody else on this site

enter competitions, companies dont like when your on thier ass asking for sponsors. if your good enough they will come to you.

look dude im just as dedicated to skiing probly as much as everyone on this site and yeah i used to have dreams like you get sponsered because it was all i thought about i mean come on think about we would all love to ski as a job and go places but i soon realised that its not about sponsership its about the sport and just ski to ski fuck sponsership youll have more fun skiing for the fun of it than you will anything but i guess if sponsership is what you want go for it...good luck.

 
Try getting in contact with Budweiser, Smirnoff, and if that doesn't work, possible Marlboro or Camel. Who cares about getting free skis when you can drink all you want?
