Hi there, kinda a new to this forum.

I was thinking of going to the camp of champions out in whistler this summer. Was wondering if any of you lot had been on the camp before, and could tell me what you've thought of it. the bad and the good. It is a pricey camp.

A friend told me that he had heard the the tutition isnt the 1-5 that they talk about. In fact that you have to push the guys to help you out.

Well id be grateful if you guys could shed light, or if you have any other camp suggestions?

CoC is the shit. sooo much freedom. they dont give a shit what you do. if your on the mountain you can ride by yourself, with your coach, or ask any coach to help you out. and then when you get back to the hotel, the village is all yours.

Whats the age range on it? Im not exactly the youngest kid on the block, at 21yrs. But then im used to standing out as a female rider, so age could just be another thing.

Also whats the ability average? As i like riding with people that are better than me, as it makes me improve. But then i dont wanna get laughed at, as being so crap. I mean i can do a 3 working on 5s but aint got em yet. Can do most rails, apart from the C, im justing knailing myself on it at the moment. But i aint learned 270 on yet, fink thats kinda the next step.

What do you think? Sorry about all the Questions.

coc is the best camp, i have been to windells and coc, and i loved coc. you have soo much freedom, and i am also a girl. there are very few skier girls but its better like that. also there are all ages, i am 18 and i have a twin , this past summer i skied with a 40 year old women in my group. there are a good number of 20 year olds but not nearly as many as the teenagers. whistler is an amazing town if you are over 19, clubs bars, everything its great. you'll love it i promise!!

also there are all levels of skiing, and like if you don't like your group you can go ski with another group, or if you wanna be taught by another coach you can. no1 is telling you what to do like they do at windells, its complete freedom, its not 'camp' its a ski vacation haha.

the coaches are great supper laid back and chill, and just great at coaches, i really recommend the camp

wow thats really good to hear. thanks for all the info, now im dying to go.

the fing that i just noticed is the strict no smoking policy. Well i guess ive been thinking about quiting for a few months now, good place to start.

will you be out there this summer?

 
yea thats bullshit, its easy as fuck to smoke there. my sister and i didn't come home one night and all the trouble we got in was that we weren't allowed to ski one day
