I'm going to C.O.C for the first time any one that has gone in the past what r some important things to bring that they dont' tell you about?

 
sun screen, get the chap stick with sun screen in it. Bring up some things to eat they feed you shit up there but it get repetative after a while. Bring like a few things of water, gatorade or some thing they have drinks up there but they run out fast. Or just bring a jug of some thing and fil it up when they get the drinks set up. If the first day is sunny hit jumps hit jumps as much as you can on the days when its sunny cuse when there is a wether system you can only do rails. About 12 or so on a sunny day it soffens up so try stuff dont waite intill the last few days. If they dont have a tow rope make sure that you keep a check on the line near lunch time cuse it goes down to like nothing so thats when you ride it.

i've never understood the point of chapstick with sunscreen. can you really get a sunburn on your lips?

i think u can.. where do u keep ur skis. Cause i got stuff in my bag with skis . so where do u keep ur skis at night

 
I got back from the dave murray ski camp a couple of days ago...

the snow actualy starts softening up around 10...i recommend you do laps through your park in the morning, and in the afternoon, find a feature you want to work on, and hike it, or, if you have a private pipe in the afternoon like we did, hike that....the line for the t-bar gets insanely long starting at about 12 (when it opens to the public...)

Even though the hotel says no skis in the hotel, everybody leaves their skis in the room. You may be tempted to leave it midway up the mountain, but last year a guy in a pick up truck drove up the mountain and stole probably 100 pairs of skis. Also, bring a camera, amazing views. If you skate bring a skateboard. Nights are a ton of fun, you can just cruise around town, hang in the game room, or sign up to do something with the coaches. No rules on going to town. All in all, amazing time

Get a ski lock and leave them at the lift, no one will steal them. Its kinda a long hike to the lift and you wont want to be bringing your skis back. Rooms have both AC and heatting so you will be fine. One thing you will want to do is go to the convent store and sock up on 2 litteres or 6 packs and put them in a frige they have it looks like a dresser. I spent like 15$ on cans of soda cuse i didnt know there was a fucking fridge in the god damn room.

there is a little house where all the ski racks are that you can leave your skis in for 2$ or somethin. i just left mine out on the racks since they sucked anyways. Defenitely bring some water or a drink, sunscreen, camera. wear several layers of clothing because its cold in the morning and then warms up. DONT bring your winter gloves, or if you do bring the glove liners too. My hands got wet and then it was uncomfortable. wear lightweight gloves.

bring more money then you need. Once u go to 7/11 for candy, youll never leave it.

when i was there there was shity weather like 3 days, one time you couldnt see the landings while in the air. Forced me to get better at rail though.

i think i was there at teh same time as you misty7...the first three days of camp were typical winter 7th heaven conditions...white out, windy, and cold...it usually ends up snowing on the glacier

as for storing, the little hut at the top of the second chair is free for campers to store...

what is the ratio between skiers and boarders? i heard it was something like 150 boarders and 50 skiers per session.

i am at COC right now, for 15 days, 2nd session just started today.. yea just a lil bit of info if you sneak out and don't stay at the hotel, don't get caught it sucks.. for coaches if your a girl you'll have PY hes cool as fuck but so are all the coaches. Py is just the coolest, he took my twin and i to a private Rossignal international pro team phto shoot, it was AWESOME

And it makes me see, every puff that I breathe, potent herbs and leaves could ease the world . . .

So, We roll and smoke and choke and- pass and toke and hand it back to ya.
 
^^They make you stay in the hotel now?!?! Last year they could care less where you went, it was a free for all for everybody and it was awesome
