Does anyone know where to get a Canon GL2, XL1 or any other camera that resembls them for cheap? Or does any one have a good suggestion for a good camera other than those, I have a Sony DCR-TRV33 MiniDV Handycam but its too small for skiing and other filming.

 
I have what I think is the cheapest 3CCD cam you can get, a Panasonic NV-GS70 which I paid AU$2300 for (AU$1 = ~US74c at the moment).

Look at second hand stuff, often people get those cams and then go fully professional.

 
i've have the GL1 with the century .3x ultra fisheye and i love it some of you may say that its the cheapest but its just as good as the ones 3times the price. i had the VX 1000 and it was great until my mom put it in the washing machine. all thought it doesn't have a lcd screen i would get it if you want a very high quality 3ccd camera under 2k

you can get the gl2 for about 1300usd but the store has apparently has horid customer service

Fuck 1300US for that camera is insane

you guys def have it much better when it comes to prices

oh well we have PAL

but fuck, that cam is about $5K RRP here.
