Camera upgrade?

so i have the nikon d3000, i love this cam. but i want something a little more advanced. i have about 2000 saved up, preferably a nikon just cuz i have all my lenses and stuff that hopefully could be put on the new camera. any suggestions appreciated! and always K+

Are you looking to do video or photos? Both? As of now the only Nikons that are decent for video are the D7000 and D3100, but you could look into a 300s if you're looking to spend all your money on a body. (I would only recommend that if you don't need anything other equipment)

i currently own the d3000 and am in the same position you are in. i am thinking about making the transition to canon to purchase the 60d or 7d. i heard the video quality is amazing. if you don't want to switch to canon, i have heard mostly positive reviews about the d300 models as well as the d7000. best of luck.
