Camera too light for glide cam help

My camera weighs in at 1.5 lbs and I have a glidecam 2000 pro. I need to get it up to 2 lbs for it to balance. I dont want to permanently add anything because I may be upgrading to a heavier camera in the near future. Anybody know how I can fix this? +K for help

How many weights are you using on the bottom? You could use the least amount of weight, and then extend the bottom arm a bit.. Other than that, add more top weight, those are the only two things I can suggest.

thanks guys i just dont know where i could attach the weights to and if i got the weight plate i would have to redrill again to put the quick release plate and I dont know if i would have enough room for the weights anyways

Go to the hardware store and get a longer bolt so you can put a few weights underneath the QR plate.
