I made this thread to show the rigs you guys use to get some of your best shots.

how does that slider and diy glide cam thing work for you?

I love them!!!!! the Glider works a lot better than i thought it would and the slider works really good but i can't find a solution for what to set the slider on

is the slider smooth? and just put a quick release plate on the bottom of it to put into your tripod

Yeah i can get the slider really smooth just it is a little hard to keep a constant speed and the problem is that i would need two tripods because the slider is about 3 feet long and when we had it on 1 tripod the pvc would flex on the ends

can you link me to the tut for the slider and "steady cam" ? and then i would pick up just another set of decent legs identical to your current ones, or at least similar.

here it is this is for the glide cam and the slider is just a loop of 1/2 inch pvc and the "sliding" piece is 4 3/4 inch t sections

hehehe I was testing out an old one I have with my new zacuto evf, and I have to say, my 85 + shoulder rig = awesomeness.
