ok, so i have an old canon d30.. not the 30 d but the d 30.. are all lenses still compatible for it, like can i just go out and buy a dslr lense and it'll work for me?

Yes, the lenses are EF... go buy a 30D. i have a 20D and it was the best thing i have ever bought
