Camcorder Opinions

Debating buying the Panasonic DVX200, was wondering if anyone had any experience using it or felt strongly about a different camcorder they had used.

For background, I shoot at Mad River Glen and don't want to use a DSLR anymore as the lens switching on mountain is getting old and cold. I would like to continue shooting at 60fps or better in HD. 4K would be nice for cropping/stabilization potential, but I'm not exporting UHD. Budget is stretched for the DVX at $3500 (not to mention attachments), so suggestions of other similar camcorders would be appreciated.

If you've got a camera that sounds like what I've described and you're looking to sell, feel free to post below or DM me!

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!

Do you shoot anything else besides skiing?

I haven't used them but take a look at the sony nx80/z90 and canon xf400/405 if you haven't already. They each have pros and cons and have smaller sensors than the dvx but size-wise might be more suitable for skiing.

I do, but mostly need an update for shooting skiing. I appreciate the suggestions and will check them out!
