Camcorder on slopes?

I have a fairly small camcorder that I'm gonna try to get video with on the slopes. Anyone have any ideas on carrying it so I have easy access, but yet can still have it somewhat protected in case of a fall?

dont fall,

but if you have to fall just keep in a camcorder case thing it will do allright unless your like 400 pounds and you fall off the lift onto it.

seriously. its not hard to ski with a camcorder. if you're gonna do ski along follow shots, put a wide angle lens on and point it at the skier. get a good camera backpack or a camera back with a good shoulder strap so you can put all your shit in there like extra tapes, batterys, etc.
