Really didn't want to do this due to his superb feedback, but I'm fed up with this.
On January ,2nd, 2011 I purchased FKS 120 off Ming. Everything went smooth. I got the bindings but had no intension on mounting them until March when i'd be getting new skis. I brought them into the shop to get mounted, and They told me the bindings had a broken part, and it was going to cost $100 to replace. You can follow along from there....

What is the claimed broken part? can i see a pic? I find it super hard to believe that a shop needs to get $100s for a part one these.

The Broken part is the part circled, but i have to buy the whole bottom section including brakes.

Kangbang is talking about my black pivot 180s that he saw in a picture. This thread is about the black FKS 120s.

I can honestly say, i don't think he was trying to screw me over, things just got out of hand, and it went from there.

i honestly dont know whats up with him. he is usually very good with communication. i sold him those fd pants in the picture for $130 and he only had $80 on him atm and said he would give me the $50 next time we saw each other at bristol. havent seen him since and he hasnt responded to my texts so idk whats up.

hope everything works out and ming i want my $50

i'm not sure if this is callout worthy, maybe he legitly didn't know about the broken part and doesn't have the money to refund you, but either way it really sucks, sorry man

I understand that, but i told him,A) you can give me a full refund, and I'll send them back.B) Please just respond to my PMs, i don't care about money anymore.

From the sounds of it he had no idea the part was broken. Bindings are tricky things to deal with... I wouldn't suggest buying them used. There are so many mechanics that go into them to determine the proper release, it's easy for things to go wrong.

The way I see it, it's your job to deal with it. You were the one who decided to purchase them, you didn't ask him to get them checked out to make sure they were fully functional. It's not his responsibility to deal with issues that arise. Sorry, it's just how I see this situation.

ive done tons of trades and sales with ming i ski with him a ton. idk whats goin on here at all ill try to contact him about it and 585 is a very close friend of mine and idk whats happning so ill see what i can do

But you have to send the damn bindings in to get them replaced, which takes time, and shipping. Its much more than 40 bucks.

his bros name is Minger and he messaged me saying that he was pretty much done for the year skiing and that he would try to get the money to me but i honestly dont understand it i have tried everything to get in contact with him and he is just ignoring me. i have been to his house 2 times for ski deals and i have probably skied with him 10 times this year so i dont get it. and back in the day he was a really legit seller/trader so im really confused.

i know ns doesnt have a policy on this but if a seller misrepresents something it is def not cool. they need to get it resolved
