let me start off by saying i really didnt want to do this, and its not like this kid is ann ass or anything. i went lookin for a pair of cheap park skis on newschooolers and found this amazing deal for a pair of already mounted (2006?) troublemakers. the kid promised me they were center mounted and although the top sheet was messed up the edges and bases were still in great shapethey came to me pretty timely and everything was just about as he said minus where the bindings were mounted which instead of true center were mounted back farther than my other skis at like 5 cm back
he gave me the skis and all theyre just not like he said they were. so i tell this kid thats its chill and i work at our ski place and that i can get the remounting price taken down from $45 to $22.50 and that id cover the $2.50and he responded once or twice when i asked him that and said hed do it but never sent the money. i threatened him with a callout like 7 days ago and hes been on like 5 or 6 times but wont reply. so if anyone knows this kid and could tell him that the skis he sold me werent what he described so just give me $20 and ill get it fixed, for what its worth, thatd be real nice

I hope you get this money from this guy.

BUT...

I looked at Killintime86's thread and if you look at the picture, it's obviously not true-center mounted.

So it's bad that he lied and isn't give you your extra $$$.

But, just saying that you should look at the pictures and related them to the details more =)
 
Yeah, Pretty sure its your responsability to make sure the mount is what you want before you buy. Shops will tell people that all sorts of mounts are center, so this kid may have thought his were. The best advice is to look at pictures and it sounds like there are pics showing the binding mount.

Just my opinion, I dont think this kid deserves a callout. Callouts should be reserved for people who dont ship, steal, scam etc.. this sounds like you bought from someone who either didnt know what you where asking or did not understand and thats not a crime.
