ok, i doubt any of you guys know this or will give me a helpful response....But does the hospital check your blood thickness when you go in or not? Because i think i have abnormally thick blood or something because my heart beats really hard and fast when i am lifting or exercising at all. And it still kicks pretty hard when im just laying or sitting.

Out of shape is definetly not it. I wrestle in the winter and jiu jitsue in the summer. And when the weather is nice i run an easy 3 miles every day.

wow...i really think that i have it...i looked up the symptoms and have almost all of them. Really Depressing moment right now...

...go to the hospital and get checked out maybe? Also just by doing wrestling and jujitsu doesn't necessarily mean you're fit/getting enough exercise. Just sayin...

Have you ever tried wrestling? Hardest sport in the world. Try it.

Ill probably go to the hospital on Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

I never thought i would get any big disease. This is just a super bummer.

thick blood doesnt make your heart beat faster. its not good that it is, especially since you seem to be fairly fit. definitely go to the doc

You could just not be recuperating enough from your work outs. I know that if you work out enough and then suddenly just stop your heart rate will dramatically decrease which i turns thickens your blood. Thats why coaches always tell you to stand up after a work out so you dont form a blood clot.

You think you have thick blood because your heart rate increases when you exercise?? I think you have a thick skull.

yes but you must not have read it all. My heart beat you can see move my shirt. Thats how bad it is. Its obvious something is wrong but i have just shrugged off the symptoms. And the symptom that really ensures that i have Diabetes is the cut on my foot has been there for like 3 years. It wont heal. And i guess thats one of the main signs of Diabetes.

that sucks dude !

it could also be leukemia... just to throw that out there... but that too sucks really badly.

Hope its nothing too serious :)

Do you ever feel really anxious or anything? Could be having some sort of anxiety/panic attacks. That would make you feel like your heart is jumping out of your chest.

Yea I know, but just because you do it doesn't mean you're automatically fit.But I don't know you, so I have no way of telling and I'm not saying that you're not fit.
We're getting off topic though, and I really wish you all the best.++vibes man, keep your head up we're with ya.

Having what is classified as "thick blood" is not hugely common and is normally genetic and can be traced through family history. One quick way you can use to tell is how you bleed when you're cut. If the bleeding is slow then there is a chance it is thick, or it will be very dense when you donate blood. Shortness of breath isn't a big sign, though chronic fatigue is. Is it possible you might have slight anemia.

just get that shit checked out, when it comes down to it serious medical issues are best not left in the hands of ns.

I just wanted to see if Newschoolers thought it was a big enough deal to go see a doctor. But since the Diabetes suggestion came up of course im going to see a doctor now. I am 99 percent sure i am diabetic.

Bright side = medical marijuana.

Still, i will prolly die when i am 40 due to stroke and wont be able to raise a family. May be gods way of punishing me for hard livin.

I've got this blood disorder type thing, that makes my blood pressure super high, so I could easily have a stroke. It also makes the blood very thick, and well when I had surgery (december 10th) they gave me needles to inject into my stomach, they said it was the only foolproof way to not have a stroke while i'm recovering. I took my self it a week later tho, it was fucking annoying having a needle shoved in my stomach everymorning.

Nah...i usually dont ever pay attention to anything that is wrong with my body, i just figure that my body can fix itself. But Diabetes is pretty serious so i am being concerned, as i should.

And yah, i am 5'11 and only 135 lbs.
