So i have had this cold for like 5 weeks but the last week, the symptoms have been stuffy nose and coughing up like globs of mucus. I cant take traditional cough medicine because i take prescribed medications that fuck with them. I use afrain (sp) which is like nasal solution that works like a charm and clears my nose up instantly for 12 hours, which cancels out the mucus coughing. Do you think I should see a doctor because i have had this cold so long or just wait it out.

You should have gone quite awhile ago man. The golden rule is that if anything last longer than 2 weeks go to a doctor. Except an erection those are 4 hours. But i'd get a doctor to check it out. He may it's something but at least you know.

Possibly bronchitis, you should research it. It can turn into an infection (not that serious) and it wont go away until you get the meds. i get it every spring.

afrin is for short term use only! using it for a long time (4 or more days) can cause dependency on it.
