Calling all Purdue/GCU skiers

I’m a senior in hs, looking at Purdue and Grand Canyon University for college. Gcu seems like it has a better location and some skiing around it. Anyone ski in the area and have advice for which one to pick?

All I know is that Purdue has a fairly large ski club that comes up to Bittersweet somewhat regularly. Also Purdue is going to be the better school unless you're studying something that only a faith based school such as GCU would offer.

Yeah, Purdue has better academics in general, but the job connections are out west in areas I wanna live in, not Lafayette Indiana lol. The area is just really cool

Don’t know anything about Purdue, but I spent a good chunk of my life in Phoenix and have some friends at GCU. Closest skiing is 2.5 hours away at Snowbowl. Most of the people I know at GCU are pretty religious. Honestly if I were to have stayed in state, I would have definitely gone to NAU. All my friends over there ski 50+ days a season as opposed to the 1-4 days my friends at ASU, GCU, U of A, etc get. Just depends on what you’re looking for, what your priorities are, and what kind of a person you are.
