Call to Arms - Stevens Pass / PNW

Stevens Pass is 25 minutes from my place of zen, the cabin. This week my cabin in Baring, WA was completely burglarized. They got every piece of my family’s ski gear, new and old. Just to give you an idea they stole the bedding, rugs, art, appliances, pans plates etc. It looked like we moved out of the place completely.

I have never posted a serious thread on NS before, but this is my Call to Arms. If anyone in the northwest has leads about ski gear in pawn shops, internet deals, or any kind of parking lot or yard sale offerings I would love to hear about it. And I hate to say this, but the police would too.

Here is a list of gear stolen. Never been the type for pictures. Wish I had.

SKIS/BINDINGS

ON3P Jeffery 12/13 186cm Jiberish Topsheet (beat up white Soloman bindings, mounted twice), ridden 100+ times

ON3P Filthy Rich 11/12 181cm (black Soloman bindings, mounted twice)

K2 Public Enemy 07/08 179cm Tyrolia bindings, ridden 10-15 times

Armada JJ AKs 12/13 195cm (Marker Duke bindings), ridden twice

Vokl Mantra 12/13 179cm (Marker Jesters) ridden 10-12 times

BOOTS

Technica Cochi 13/14 28.5

Atomic black and white, old, 28.5

OUTERWEAR

XXL Orage B Dog down coat, yellow black white

XXL Orage JP Auclair jacket, gore-tex shell, black

XL Helly Hansen / Moods of Norways colab pants, rainbow paisley

L Marmot pants, khaki

EXTRA

A bundle of gloves, goggles, including Oakley and OR, a Bern helmet, new Spy black DOOM goggles, fleeces, long underwear, homemade Norwegian knit sweaters, coats including a large green North Face and a large black Spider coat. Poles old and new. Couple shotguns. Shitty snowblades and some Nordic alpine gear as well. Easily $5,000+ of gear retail.

MY WISH is that we find these people because it was a grand operation. The skis and jackets can be replaced through an insurance claim. I can deal with that. However, the art, antiques, flags, furniture, grandfather’s billow and hand knit sweaters in that cabin are not.

I hope you have the time to read this. My email is posted in my profile.

What the fuck. WE WILL FIND THEM.

But seriously, that sucks really fucking bad and I hope you atleast get some stuff back. I'll keep my eyes out for stuff on CL, I'm on there about 200000 times a day.

often times stolen gear is gonna get trafficked out of town to avoid being caught so put this same post up in Oregon regionals if you haven't already. and keep an eye on portland craigslist as well.

yeah they have to launder a TON of ski gear. I posted in all PNW regionals. Forgot to list my avy gear.

just another $500 is all.

Fuck those fools.

Looks like you buy all new shit every year anyways they probably did you a favor taking it off your hands. They might deserve it too. I mean that's probably what you would pay some peasant mover anyways. They are just movers with extra initiative~

Definitely keep your eye on craigslist for pretty much anywhere within a days drive of Seattle (Vancouver, Spokane, Portland, Bellingham, and such). You'd be surprised how stuff can turn up. One of my bikes was stolen last spring and I got it back two months later via craigslist.

Here is my craigslist-stolen-shit-finding pro tip: if you look at the web address the location is first (seattle.craigslist.org) it saves a lot of time searching different areas by just typing in a new location (vancouver.craigslist.org). That way you enter your search once and then can change the region to anywhere you like super quick.

searchcraigslist.org might be useful for the on3p's. You don't see as many for sale so there won't be a billion results.
